My first post! Thanks Jim and Victor for thinking up the blog name.
This year has been so crazy for me. In a good way. I did well in my classes and finally learned to balance it with a lot of fun. I felt welcomed at Davis for the first time in three years. I was happy. I am happy. And I owe it to all the wonderful people I met this year.
As it got closer and closer to graduation I remembered my elementary school graduation. I cried for the whole ceremony and that’s how people remembered me. Not Pretty. I did it because I thought I wouldn't see my friends anymore. I think. Well I didn't want that again. As I evaded studying by thinking up graduation scenarios, I started to tear up. If I cried for friends in elementary school, it was not going to be pretty for this graduation. I didn't want to leave behind friends again. Just thinking about people leaving made me sad. Once graduation hit, I didn't cry as much as I thought I would. Okay, I did cry for Lavender Grad and SEA grad, but those were such touching dedications and crying people get me. As I thought about it more I realized that I wasn't losing anyone, and I had a feeling I would stick with these people for a long time. We might see each other less, but we would still be friends. Promise.
APIQ
Thank you all for being there. You guys all made such a big difference in my life. You guys are all such great people and I love you all. Everyone is so welcoming and exciting. You guys give me confidence and energy. I remember my first meeting. I was so nervous and I barely said anything, but many of you came to talk to me and tried to make me feel included. I really hated Davis before I met you guys, but as cheesy as it sounds you guys brightened everything up. I love Davis now. Maybe I just love the people, but that’s all I need. I didn't know being Queer could be so much fun.
You guys are my family.
Jim
Oh Jim. I always see you smiling and it makes me smile. You always look out for us and make sure we have fun. I know you always looked out for me. Thanks for “kidnapping” me that first time after QPOCC. I think that was the first time I got to really hang out with you. You taught me how to drink wine. Swirl. Swirl .Smell. You drive me around a lot. Sorry about that. I’ll have to learn how to drive so I can pay you back. Ahaha. You always make me feel included and happy.I was feeling kind of down because I was thinking about graduation. I went to check my mail and I saw "You have been invited by Jim to join GoG!" What is a GoG? I logged onto facebook to find out"Common interest- families" That just lifted my spirits.
Thank you for being my Prom date! I know I said this before, but I love dancing with you because I know I will always have fun and when I see you dance I always feel so energized.
I value our friendship too! Thank you!

Hey look I spelled your name right! Thank you for being my first friend in APIQ. I couldn’t have gotten to where I am today if you didn’t take the time to talk to me. You always took me out to eat randomly and tried to get me to talk. Thank you for the midnight talks and for falling asleep while talking to me. I’m glad my stories can put you to sleep. Ahaha. Thank you.

Thanks for always inviting us over to your place. I appreciate all the food! ahaha and your company. Thank you for indulging my weird dance moves. It makes it so much more fun! Thanks for all the yummy playlists. I’m glad you guys “kidnapped” me that one night. It was a pretty fun adventure trying to steam rice and failing. You are so enthusiastic about a lot of things and it just makes everything fun. Like that Iron Chef night. We had fruit in everything. That was some delicious food we made. I don’t know anyone else brave enough to auction themselves off.
Frank
I remember seeing you in my ochem classes before I actually got to know you. I got to know you a little bit during that limerick APIQ meeting. I learned you love Kpop, ramen and that we both loved reality TV shows like VH1’s “I love…” You are so sweet and adorable. I admire like what you like and you don’t let other people sway you. Thanks for being such a great dance instructor to us. And sometimes I like to put oregano in a lot of my food too. ;)
Victor
LIVE VICTOR! LIVE! <3. Why do you always give me such angry looks?! Ahaha. Oh Victor. I can’t believe I let it get to the end of the quarter before I really started to talk to you Victor. You are so calm and mature. Its kind of sad to say because I wish I could be like an older brother to you, but you take care of me. So I guess I’m your Nephew still? Thanks for the art sculpture. I love it! And its totally fair because when you smile I smile too.
Justin Dela Cruz
Hi Justin! You pull off jokes that only you can and I love them. You are so fun to be around. You also give some pretty awesome hugs. It makes me happy. You never fail to put a smile on my face. Sometimes I don’t know what you are doing, but that makes it more fun. I hope to get to know you more next year. I will successfully sneak up on you in the computer lab one day.
Edward
I’m glad you don’t dislike me anymore. I would have never would have guessed. You were so cheerful that first time you said hi to me in MCB 121. I love when you sing. I always have a lot of fun when we hang out. You have such a loveable personality. Thanks for teaching me magic tricks too. “See these two rings they are unbreakable….” I think we still have to go out for sushi with Vickie, Alice and Frank sometime.
Andrew Y.
I’m glad I got to spend time with you on the trip down to Great America. I got to know you some more. Thanks for picking me up that one time when my sandal broke and I ended up missing the bus. See I’m not so scary.
Nick
Hey Nick. I don’t get to talk to you much. I think I’m still the most shy around you. I want to get to know you more. I hope I can next year. You are so adorable especially when someone tickles you. Thank you for my first egg salad sandwich and thanks for getting me hooked on tortilla chips with a hint of lime.
I want to say thanks to everyone I met these past year because you all made it so great. I feel that I grew a lot this year and its thanks to you all.
I’ve had a lot of adventures with you guys and I know we will have many more.
Love
