Vacation in 15 minutes

Tuesday
Tried to start my blog at 12AM. Got the title thanks to Jim and Victor. 2am Frick. Long Blog entry on thank yous. Screw it I’ll write it on the trip. Go to bed for two hours. Wake up at 4AM. Get to airport. Virgin American has cute tiny airplanes. Fall asleep for an hour. ZZZ. Get to Seattle. Wait at rental place for two hours. Not fun. So hungry. Get in the car drive to Seattle Chinatown called the international district. Have some Cambodian food. Pretty delicious. Walk around for an hour. Seattle parking is funny. They use stickers. Off to scout out downtown. Lots of photo shoot areas. Jim would have fun. Walk by a sex shop. Elementary school kids are looking at the display window. Teacher notices it and pulls them away. We head back early. Eat at some diner. Get lots of stares. Yay the hotel has free internet. Only on for 10 minutes before sisters takes it. Bed.

Wednesday
Wake up at 9am. Head out to Public Market. Watch the Pike’s market people throw fish. Take pictures with pigs. First starbucks. Eat a Piroshky. Walk around. Want some flowers. Went to Crab pot. Bucket of seafood thrown on the table. Eat with no plates. Buttery. Walk around the pier. Smells fishy. Head to international district again to go shopping in Uwajimaya. There is a Kinokuniya. Its been a while since I’ve been to one. Got some creampuffs. Mom thought I was flirting with the pretty clerk girl. Just wanted some green tea creampuffs. Ate at some small Japanese place. Not very good. Sad. Drive back to hotel. Sleep. Internet again. No one on today.

Thursday
Wake up early to head across the border. Got lost. Three hours later we make it to Richmond. Very asian-y town. Expensive houses. So hungry. Nothing open at 3pm. Have to eat at an ABC like store. Not too bad cheap food and free drinks. Head to downtown Vancouver. Head to Chinatown for fruit. Yum. Got some Lychee, Mangosteen, Rambutan. Sad. No fresh Durian. Drive to a marina like district. Walk for an hour. Lots of underwear stores. Yay! Head home and eat some Korean BBQ. We eat more asian food than anything else on vacation. Weird. Head home and chow down on the fruit. I heart mangosteen. Delicious. Lychee and Rambutan are kind of disappointing tasted like grass. Ew.

7 minutes 38 seconds left.
Continued tomorrow

Friday
Wake up super early to catch the ferry to Victoria but first stopped at the Buddhist temple. Very pretty and serene. 2.5 hour trip. Got a little sea sick feeling in my stomach. Ran to the arcade and played time crisis with my sister. The guns are replaced with remote control looking like things with one button. Hillarious. Checked into the hotel then again to Chinatown to eat. Had homemade ramen and wontons. Yum. The girls there were really cute. Walked around Chinatown/downtown for 3 hours. Had some burgers. Back home for rest. First night of good sleep.

Saturday
A day in Victoria. Its doesn’t seem too big. We have a late start. We head out a little late and get some sandwiches. All good. Walked around downtown again this time to the embassy building and the empress hotel. They all look like castles down there. We watch some street performers. There are a lot of street performers. Every block had one. Darth Vader playing the violin. Bronze cowgirl. Cute acrobat guy who juggles. We were waiting for it to get dark so we could see the embassy building at night. Walked around some more. Went to a nice bistro for early father’s day dinner. Half off appetizers! Ahaha Escargot with puff pastry and a dish of mussels. Got a cedar smoked salmon. It was tiny. Crème Brule with a truffle. First time I ate a whole meal and was still hungry. Very yummy though. Got lost going to the bathroom. I was following the arrows and they pointed me in a circle. Victoria got cold really fast.Watched the sunset and took pictures with the buildings.

Sunday
Trying to spend some of our remaining Canadian money. Got to eat dragon fruit. Tasted like cactus. I pick bad fruits. Then got on a ferry to head back to the states. While waiting in line I will always love you by Whitney Houston came on. My dad sang it really loud so I joined in. I forgot he loved the movie The Bodyguard. Best Father’s day ever. The ride was much smoother. Fell asleep. Long drive down back to Seattle. Get there at 10pm. Everything is closed. Head back to Chinatown for food. Hotpot! Mountains of meat.

Monday
So Excited we get to go eat at Mario Batalli’s dad’s restaurant. Nope we don’t. It was closed. Only opens for 4 days a week. Monday is not the day. Sad. But we get to go to this awesome French bakery and chow down on sandwiches, tarts and assorted croissants. Grab a few extra for dinner at the airport. Walk around The market a few more times. There was a singer there who’s voice reminded me of Linda. Drove back to the airport. Got lost looking for rental car return. Wandered the airport for 2 hours. Got on the plane. Listened to some Beyonce. Back home in SF! Yay. Time to prepare for Pride…

I cheated and went over by 2 minutes and 11 seconds.
